The Idea
At maavr, everything revolves around lightness, sun, and sea.
The sea has always been more than just a place for us. We love being by the sea – and all the little things that keep that feeling alive even away from the beach. With our products, we want to help you feel the beach vibe even when you're not at the coast, let you dream of the sea, or make your time there even more enjoyable.
The Story
maavr was born out of a deep connection to the sea, out of a
passion for surfing and, for the past few years, also for
wing foiling.
Combined with our love for natural materials and the
joy of discovering, creating, and sharing things, our small shop came to be.
Because we ourselves can't always spend as much time by the sea as we'd like, we want to share things with you here that bring a piece of coastal feeling into everyday life.
The Inspiration
On surf trips or other journeys, you often encounter many inspiring things and ideas that make life more pleasant – from experiences and encounters on and by the water, to furnishings and tools in beach houses, surf centers, or beach bars, all the way to practical outdoor equipment and accessories. These experiences shape our product range.
