Surfing and foiling are all about lightness, flow, and a special way of connecting with the elements. That feeling is exactly what sparked maavr – and what we want to carry beyond the water, into every moment when you're not flying across it.
That's why we're always looking for things that embody this lifestyle, make it tangible – and capture the vibe of being surrounded by a salty breeze.
We love discovering new vibes and sparks that inspire and enrich everyday life. We'd like to share them with you - through our assortment and on our blog.
In our shop, we curate carefully selected products from renowned surf and outdoor brands, complemented by high‑quality interior pieces and accessories with maritime flair - from southern shores to the far north.
Our selection grows from personal experience and ongoing conversations with surfers, foilers, outdoor enthusiasts, and travelers - everyone who, like us, feels a deep connection to the sea, to nature, and to the elements.
Born from the surf and foil lifestyle and inspired by seabirds that, like wingfoilers, merge with wind and water, maavr represents a lifestyle of lightness, flow, and deep connection to the elements.
How did we come up with the name?
MA – like mar, the sea
V – like Vogel (the german word for bird)
And VRrr – like the powerful snort of a wild horse galloping freely across the land
"Like Fury?"

Using resources responsibly
Some of our products are only made to order – meaning they’re printed or refined after you place your order. This helps us avoid overproduction and conserve valuable resources. You’ll find details about which products this applies to in the product descriptions.
Most of the printing and finishing processes take place in Germany. When capacity is limited, some items may be refined at other production facilities within Europe.
