The interplay of water and wind carved in wood


Inspired by water and wind, each wave on the card holder is carved into the wood by hand. This creates a relief that brings a small section of the interplay of waves, wind and light into your home and always appears different depending on the incidence of light.

Each piece is made individually. Differences in wave patterns and grain make each card holder unique.

For postcards or greeting cards, photos, notes and small prints.

Note: Depending on the size and paper thickness, it may be useful to additionally support cards, photos or notes on the back.

Material: Aspen, lacquered.

Wood is a natural material. Differences in color and grain are natural. Due to the handcrafted processing, individual card holders may also differ in wave pattern.

Care
Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. Use only indoors and protect from prolonged moisture.

Inspired by waves, wind, and light

The bright, understated look of aspen allows the hand-carved waves to take center stage without drawing attention to itself. This is exactly what we like about this wood: depending on the incidence of light, new shadows and contours are constantly created on the relief, making the wave play appear sometimes more distinct, sometimes more subtle.

How is the card holder shipped?

The card holder is carefully wrapped in packing paper and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box. We use paper-based parcel tape to seal the box.
